How do I choose the right product for me?
Herbs can be powerful, and not because they “fix” you. At Wise Women Village, we choose herbs the way we choose foods and rituals: by listening. This shop is designed to help you read a product page and feel an honest yes, that’s me or no, not today, without fear or promises.
Start with what it is:
Every listing begins by describing moments: the kind you might recognise in your body or in your season of life. This is how you self-select. If the words feel true, it’s a maybe. If they don’t, it’s a clear no (and that’s a good thing).

Do you tell customers what to take for health conditions?
No. We don’t recommend products for specific health conditions or diagnose concerns.
If you’re navigating a health issue, it’s important to seek advice from one of our qualified herbalists.
Our role is to provide high-quality traditional products and educational context, not medical guidance.
Are your products medicines?
No. Our products are herbal preparations.
Can I ask for guidance?
Yes, we’re always happy to talk on WhatsApp about:
-the history of plants
-traditional and cultural context
-show how people incorporate herbs into everyday cultural or personal routines
Any conversations are educational and wellbeing-focused rather than medical.
Why don’t you list specific benefits?
Because people experience plants differently, and we want to be transparent and responsible.
Rather than promising outcomes, we encourage learning, curiosity and sovereign, informed choice.
Do you offer dosage advice?
We provide general information about traditional preparation methods and typical formats.
At 2 droppers/3 times daily, a 50ml bottle lasts around 1 week. A recommended course of support is 1 month, so 4 bottles.
This is a starting point. As you connect with your remedies, you might find yourself needing more or less.
For personalised dosage advice, medical or therapeutic dosing, please consult one of our qualified herbalists.
Where can I learn more about herbs?
We share educational content about herbal traditions, history and cultural practices through our articles and resources on our blog, our online courses as well as through our programme of Workshops & Trainings throughout the year.
Ordering and Shipping FAQ
How do I know if my order is confirmed?
You will receive a confirmation email after placing your order. If you did not receive a confirmation email, it may be because your email address was entered incorrectly at checkout (for example, .con instead of .com). Please send us an email at herbalist@wisewomenvillage.com with any information you can think of that will help us locate your order!
Can I change my shipping address after my order is placed?
If you notice that your shipping address was entered incorrectly, please email us ASAP at herbalist@wisewomenvillage.com with your order number and the correct address. Please note that we may not be able to change your address once the shipping label for your order has already been printed ready for dispatch.
How long will it take until I receive my order?
We process orders placed before 3pm on the same day Monday to Friday and ship using TRACKED 48.
I placed an order, but now I would like to cancel it. How do I do that?
We ask that you please take responsibility for what you place in your shopping cart, meaning that you read through the entire shop listing, including the ingredients and any notes about the product that may inform of any allergens or contraindications.
You have the right to cancel the order and claim a refund without giving any reason or justification and without incurring any liability (unless exceptions apply) within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods. These must be sealed. Wise Women Village is not responsible for the cost of the return.
The 14-day cancellation period starts the day the goods are in your possession. Weekends and public holidays are included in the 14 days. However, the cancellation period expires at the end of the following working day if the end of the 14 days falls on one of those days.
I received my order but an item was missing/incorrect! What do I do?
Please contact us ASAP at herbalist@wisewomenvillage.com with your order number and any relevant photos/proof that your order was not fulfilled correctly and we will take care of you.
International Shipping
International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes imposed by the destination country and vary from country to country.
We are not responsible for these charges. We cannot predict or control these charges, and we do not cover any additional charges imposed by customs or government authorities.
Wise Women Village customer service is not available to help facilitate any communication between the customer and their country's customs department. Once the package has left the UK and is in possession of the customer's country's Customs department, it is the customer's responsibility to contact their customs' department to determine what is needed in order to release their package.
If you refuse a shipment due to duties or taxes, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any duties, taxes, and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to us.
We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information on duties, taxes, and customs regulations before placing your order.
